Shows: The Inbetweeners (2012)

Time for another pointless MTV show review. Next up is The Inbetweeners, which is based on the UK show of the same name. The series follows terrible actor Will MacKenzie, who is thrown into a new school and is introduced by three other guys, Jay, Simon and Neil.
So...when I first heard of this I thought it could be fun. I mean...I've been an "inbetweener" before and I know how it feels. Plus, it's one of the first MTV shows revolving around not just two nerds, but four. I thought it would be good. It was! I thoroughly enjoy this show. I find it hilarious. Now, I can exactly review the show in a whole as I've seen every episode so far.
Instead I'll just give a brief description of the boys. Jay Cartwright, is an fat asshole who always lies about everything and anything. Hate him. He sounds like Jonah Hill, which is obviously why he plays that guy on Dragons: Riders of Berk. Next is Simon Cooper, who is just a regular guy who has a crush on this girl he's been in the friendzone with for years. Then we have Neil Sutherland, a guy who's fricking hilarious. He's so ridiculously funny. The fun thing about this show is that I can relate to each one of these guys.
So, the humor is top-notch, though it sometimes gets annoying hearing jokes about Neil's gay dad every single episode. Also, don't watch the first few episodes, there not as good as the final episodes. It's also good to see Carli getting jealous because of Simon's new girlfriend. Good to see where this is going. The acting is pretty...meh. Will is a TERRIBLE actor...just saying. The rest are okay. The plotlines are pretty good, but some are your usually high-school series plotlines. Anyways, the final show score is A. I certainly hope that MTV renews this as it is currently doing better than Under-shit-employed in the ratings. The thing that pisses me off is that stupid British people who love the original are going "ohe MTV, it's gottae bee shite. the originale programme is so muche bettere."
